Lomsdal Visten national park is a rugged and remote wilderness located in a coastal region of Nordland, Norway. The area gained status as a national park in 2009 and covers 1102 km2. It stretches from pristine coastlines, through valleys of old-growth forests and upwards into alpine mountain areas. It is a notoriously inaccessible place with very few marked trails and an overall rough terrain that often requires long detours or treacherous climbs. The interior parts of the national park are therefore remarkably pristine and there are very few people that venture there. Just the way I like it. It is truly a spectacular place.
